Using Traditional Medicine to Fight Cancer
The Herald Sun reports Australian Rules Football great Jim Stynes has been in Bali trying a traditional treatment to cure his cancer. The treatment includes smoke and massage.
The article notes that this is only one of the treatments which Mr Stynes is trying. He has been on a Western medicine course which includes chemotherapy, but he has been trying a number of other methods which include coffee enemas and drinking his own urine.
Even if the Balinese smoke and massage doesn’t cure the cancer, it sure sounds more relaxing after all those other harsh cures. The article reports him as saying that at least it’s fixed some of his old sporting injuries, which was something Western medicine couldn’t do.
I’ve reported on a couple of traditional Indonesian cures on this site. Search under the tag ’alternative medicine’ to find out more.
